Theme

This is the fifth year that this workshop on computer architecture education will be held in conjunction with HPCA. The goal of the workshop is to provide a forum for educators to discuss and share their experiences and teaching philosophy. The hope is that participants come away from the workshop with a fresh look at how they deliver courses in the areas related to Computer Achitecture. This year's workshop addresses a range of subjects in Computer Architecture education.

Topics of interest include:

Teaching experiences

Curriculum development

Textbooks

Software Tools

Simulators

Prototyping

Visualization aids

VLSI design packages

Related topics

The workshop format will include panel sessions as well as presentations of refereed paper.

Submitting Contributions:

Interested authors should submit an extended abstract (not to exceed 4 pages) to:

Industry Participation:

The workshop encourages partcipation by book publishers, computer manufacturers, software vendors, or companies which develop or market products used in the delivery of Computer Architecture education. Copies of papers presented at the workshop will be made available at the workshop. As in past years, the proceedings for the workshop will be published in the IEEE TCCA Newsletter or another appropriate venue.
