The Summer 2017 Research Experience and Mentoring in Data-Driven Discovery (REU-D3) program will be hosted at Northeastern University in Boston from Monday, June 5, 2017 through Friday, August 11, 2017. This program is being offered to undergraduates at the Rising Sophomore level (those who have completed their freshmen year, and will be entering their sophomore year the fall after the summer program).
Mission: The REU-D3 program is focused on showing rising sophomore students a path to pursue careers in Big Data analytics. By exposing students to unique research experiences that provide hands-on access and processing of large data sets, they will be charged to pursue careers in Data-driven Discovery and related technology-based domains.
2017 Summer Program Dates: June 5 – August 11, 2017
Application Deadline: Friday, February 24, 2017
Stipend: $5,000 over the 10-week program
Housing: Provided to all students on Northeastern University’s campus in Boston, MA.
Travel: Travel support to and from the program in Boston will be provided to those who need it.
