I originally hail from Mysore, a city in South India known for royal heritage, art and ancient architecture. I have been invovled in the arts since childhood working with a range of subject matter including still life and landscapes. The other aspect of drawing that attracts me is to sketch from imagination keeping standard forms of objects in view. I am a self taught artist, however I have refined my skills and learnt from various professional artists. My awards include "First place in city level" at the "All India Camel color contest". I have been exhibiting work in Boston at the Copley Society of Art. I currently reside and work in Boston.
