Biography

Meghna is a graduate student with the Dept. of Electrical Engineering at University at Buffalo. She works as a Web Researcher/Analyst for Office of University Communications at University at Buffalo, where she is responsible for Strategic Planning for Online Communications and providing required groundwork as well as technological support to various campus units participating in Digital Communications Transformation (DCT) as a part of UB's 2020 plan. She graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications, with a minor in Business Administration and Management from Jaypee University of Information Technology, India in 2012 and joined University at Buffalo as a graduate student in the same year. She is currently working on the masters thesis under Dr. Melodia's supervision. Her focus is on analyzing data from various social media channels, and utilizing this data towards prediction models.

  • Implementation and Performance Analysis of Turbo Encoder and Decoder, under different channel conditions and modulation schemes.

  • Social Media Data: Understanding users demographics, biases, and implementing the data into a prediction model.
