Biography

Lei Ding received her M.S. Degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology , Beijing, China in 2006. From 2006 to 2007, she was an electrical engineer at Motorola China R&D Networks Lab , Beijing, China.
On May 18th 2012, Lei Ding successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis titled "Cross-layer Routing and Resource Allocation in Cognitive Radio Networks".


She is currently a Research Scientist at Intelligent Automation Inc. working on networking and security areas.

Research

  • Cross-layer optimization for cognitive radio networks and cooperative communication networks.

  • Design and experimentation of PHY, MAC, routing, and transport protocols for wireless distributed networks.

  • Testbed evaluation of ad hoc wireless networks.
