Vilas Sridharan

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University.  I am part of the Northeastern University Computer Architecture Research group under Professor David Kaeli.

My research focuses on system reliability and fault tolerance, specifically on modeling the effects of soft errors on systems and on system recovery techniques.  Some of my publications can be found here.

I received my M.S.E. in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University in 2006, and my B.S.E. in Computer Engineering from Princeton University in 2000.  From 2000 - 2004, I worked at Sun Microsystems in Burlington, MA, and Camberley, UK, in the SPARC server division.  A full CV can be found here.

I also help to run The Longwood Players, a Boston-area community theater company now in its 10th year.
