My previous research was funded by
Analog Devices, Inc. We are working together to develop power-aware strategies for their
Blackfin processor. The goal for this work is to build an instruction-level energy
model for the Blackfin processor.
This page is intended to keep everyone up-to-date on the progress of my research work. Every
Friday one lucky member of NUCAR gives a presentation to the group. When it is my turn, I will
post my slides on this page. In addition, I will provide any major milestones that are
reached throughout the project.
On Friday March 19th, I gave a status update presentation to ADI at their Norwood office.
The reviews were good and it gave me more focus for my work...I have not posted the
slides due to company confidentiality.
On Friday April 23rd, I presented a poster on my work at the 15th annual
CDSP Research Workshop. Check out the
website! The picture on the right is me standing at my poster.
The group from ADI, Prof. Kaeli and myself submitted an abstract to the High Performance
Embedded Computing workshop on May 28th. The submission was accepted and we are
presenting a poster on this work on September 29th in Boston, MA at
HPEC.
Since I have graduated I am no longer continuing with this project. However, the project
is still ongoing with Seth Molloy leading the research.
