I have recently graduated from
Northeastern University
with an M.S. degree in in Electrical
Engineering with a concentration in Computer Engineering. While at NEU I
worked within the
Northeastern
University Computer Architecture Research group, led by
Prof. David Kaeli.
My thesis focused on a joint project with
Analog Devices, Inc. developing power aware strategies for their Blackfin processor.
More information on this project is available on my
research webpage and at the NUCAR Research Projects page.
After defending my thesis (later that afternoon actually)
I moved back to the Midwest...specifically Minneapolis, MN. I am currently looking for
a computer engineering position in the Twin Cities area.
Prior to my days at NEU, I graduated from Marquette
University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in May 2002. During my time at Marquette
I held two internship positions (one with GE Medical Systems and one with Johnson Controls,
Inc.) and one teaching assistantship. Near the end of my days in Milwaukee, I began teaching
for Kaplan Test Prep and I have been doing
it ever since. This small taste of standing in front
of a class and helping students has only fueled my desire to become a professor some day.
Sometimes it may feel like it, but I do not spend all of my days in the
lab...here is a picture of me hiking in the Adirondacks.
