Emmanuel Arzuaga is currently working towards his PhD in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. He works as a Research Assistant for the Northeastern University Computer Architecture Research Group (NUCAR) under the supervision of Prof. David Kaeli. His current Research has to do with I/O workload characterization and storage systems performance analysis.
Mr. Arzuaga received his BSCpE and MSCpE from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez (UPRM) in 2000 and 2003 respectively. He worked for UPRM as a Software Developer for the Laboratory for Applied Remote Sensing and Image Processing (LARSIP). His previous work was related with the development of Remote Sensing and Pattern Recognition related software for the NSF funded Engineering Research Center of Sub-Surface Sensing and Imaging Systems (CenSSIS) and the Tropical Center for Earth and Space Studies (TCESS) funded by NASA Univeristy Research Centers Program. Mr. Arzuaga is a student member of the ACM, the IEEE and IEEE Computer Society.
