Iraz Medhi has a strong passion for educational equity and student retention. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral degree in Higher Education with a focus on STEM education for women and minority students. In her role as a co-op coordinator with Electrical & Computer Engineering department, she hopes to create a seamless and intentional learning environment for her students through the experiential learning model. Iraz received her Bachelors’ degree in Political Science from University of California, Los Angeles and her Master’s degree in Student Development and Counseling in Higher Education from California State University, Long Beach. She has extensive international work experience in different areas of higher education.
