Biography

John Kimani received his B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Miami University in Oxford, OH in 2007, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Milwaukee, WI in 2009 and 2012, respectively. He worked for ABL technologies in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as a design engineer working on technologies to improve radiofrequency catheter ablation techniques for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias (defects in heart rhythm). His research interests are in RF and microwave semiconductor devices, solid-state chemical and biological sensors, and hardware/software design for sensor circuits and systems. John Kimani joined the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Northeastern University as an Assistant Academic Specialist in the Fall of 2014 semester.
