Embedded System Simulation Framework
Design and implementation of a hardware-software embedded system
simulation framework. The framework integrates cycle-level instruction
set simulators with transaction-level models, consisting of CPUs,
GPUs, and interconnection network. An operating system runs on the
CPU, and a GPU driver provides the functions required by CPU-GPU
communication such as memory transfer and kernel execution.

Ultra-Reliable Flash Memory Systems for Embedded Applications
Research efforts focusing on characterizing and modeling failure modes of present generation (40-30 nm) and next-generation flash memory devices (sub 20 nm). Development of novel flash memory systems that manage and/or mitigate the impacts of these failure modes and continue to support storage demands of embedded applications despite the continually degrading endurance and reliability specifications of these flash memories.
