The NUCAR Laboratory was formed in 1995 by Prof. David Kaeli. The Laboratory focuses on computer systems related research issues, as summarized in Research Projects. The Laboratory is funded by a number of federal and industrial sponsors, including: the National Science Foundation, the Office of Naval Research, EMC Corporation, Analog Devices, IBM, Compaq, Intel, the Design Automation Conference, and Digital Equipment Corporation.
