The JavaPorts QoS GUI
The QoS GUI is used to configure and manage the resource monitoring modules by:
- Defining and editing the machine pool
- Selecting a reference machine
- Launching and terminating the resource monitoring modules
- Displaying the measured resource information
- Editing the setup data (e.g. QoS measurements frequency and number of past points to retain)

In addition, the QoS GUI allows running QoS sessions by:
- Loading applications and viewing their ATG and behavioral graphs
- Finding a mapping that satisfies a desired QoS level in terms of a selected metric
- Using a mapping heuristic and performance estimator to find the best mapping
- Displaying the mapping results
- Saving the configuration file of the best found mapping
