The Computer Engineering Program, consisting of 8 faculty members and their graduate research assistants, is one of the most dynamic and energetic groups in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.

In addition to offering an exciting, up-to-date curriculum in Computer Engineering, we have developed strong research programs sponsored by federal agencies and industry. Our research areas currently include algorithms, compilers, computer-aided design, computer architecture, distributed computing, hardware description languages, neural networks, rapid prototyping, reconfigurable computing, robotics and vision, and VLSI.
