• Laboratory Safety

    In order to provide and maintain a safe environment for teaching, learning and research, all students/researchers MUST be trained by the Northeastern University Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) division before commencement of research.  

    To prepare for the EHS training, the following steps should be taken: 

    1. Identifying the type(s) of chemicals/materials or equipments you are to be involved with.
    2. Determining the type(s) of safety training you need (http://www.ehs.neu.edu/general_safety/).
    3. Visiting the EHS website to check for the training schedule (http://www.ehs.neu.edu/training/training_schedule/).
    4. Registering for the EHS training through the following link http://www.ehs.neu.edu/training/training_request/
