If you are completing the extra compensation form for summer salary and wish to be paid starting 5/15, forms should be submitted to Ali by Thursday 4/27, in order to route through the Dean's office and DSPA. Forms are due to HR by 5/3 for the 5/15 paydate. Some reminders on summer salary: - calculate summer pay using 2005/2006 salary, NOT 0607 - use the POSITION ID number affiliated with the account, found on the HR payroll web-page, www.hrm.neu.edu - the payroll link at the top left. Enter the budget number and the system will produce the generic code which MUST be affiliated with the account to be charged - if you are charging multiple accounts, there must be equal affiliated position numbers - EARNINGS CODE - must select (for most) OCR - off contract research - You need to know and write your employee ID number, found on your paystubs - summer teaching - I will prepare the forms for summer teaching (Salehi, Meleis, Ingle & Kim), fyi, earnings code must be OCT, I have employee id's., etc. - max allowable - all salary combined is 40% of AYS 0506 - the goal amount is salary only (please do not include the fringe, which is 27%, your account will be charged) The form is on the HRM web-page, www.hrm.neu.edu/forms Ali is also out next week, so please be sure to submit forms to Linda March to hold. Held forms will be processed the week of 4/24 to make the 5/15 payroll deadline. Summer salary to be paid later in the summer should follow the same guidelines, and will be processed upon receipt.
