Bruce McDonald Subject: lab grades Hi Prof. McDonald, Attached is an Excel worksheet, which contains the lab/quizz grades for the people in the class. As suggested by Yanjun Xiang, the final grades are calculated, based on the following rule - for each person I dropped the lowest grade for the quizzes and the lowest grade for lab reports, then averaged the quizz and lab report grades and calculated the final grade by giving 30% weight to the quizz avergae and 70% grade to the lab report average. There aer two people, who have missed one of the quizzes and their final grades came to around 80, for the rest of the people the grades are between 90 and 100.
