Duration: 3 hours 1. Establish a set of fund-raising goals to pursue during the current term. (i.e. how many RAs and how much money do we need on an nnual or quarter basis). 2. Establish a work plan for the current term and the summer session. 3. Revision of a list of companies that offer Research Funding. 4. Revision of proposal's abstracts. Proposal abstracts will be prepared by each of the group members as part of their future research work. The Research problems have to be planned as one year (average) research work. Please, everybody bring their own abstract and lay out. Professor McDonald will bring the abstract consisting on the cross layer framework. 5. Discussion on the abstracts. Making them more suitable for the industry. (Timelines and results) 6. Immediate needs. List of immediate need such us ( laptops, licenses and computers ) to be acquired immediately. 7. Redistribution of the Research group administrative tasks. Delegation of tasks to all members. 8. About the internships: - Make a list of the contact information of persons working in the comanies willing to take non US citizens interns. - Make an rotation schedule of how many people will be internship for this summer. The objective of next meeting will be to put on the table our goals as a research group, identify our tools and motivate ourselves for a more coordinated and structured research plan.
