Biography

Dr. Mulukutla is the author of numerous technical articles published in leading journals, including the first studies of methods for computer-aided analysis of three-dimensional nonlinear electromagnetic field problems as applied to the design of electrical machinery.

Sarma is the author of SYNCHRONUS MACHINES: THEIR THEORY, STABILTY, AND EXCITATION SYSTEMS, ELECTRIC MACHINES: STEADY-STATE THEORY AND DYNAMIC PREFORMANCE, POWER SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND DESIGN WITH PERSONAL COMPUTER APPLICATIONS, INTRODUCTION TO ELECTRICAL MACHINES LABORATORY MANUAL. Thrid editions of the text books have been published. His books have also been translated into Chinese, Arabic, and other languages. Sarma is a LIFE-FELLOW of IEEE(USA), a FELLOW of IEE(UK), a FELLOW of IEE(INDIA), and a reviewer of several several IEEE TRANSACTIONS, a member of the IEEE Rotating Machinery Committee, and a member of several other professional societies. Dr.Mulukutla is a Professional Engineer of the State of Massachusetts, Chartered Electrical equipment manufacturers, as well as electric utility companies. Sarma has been listed in AMERICAN MEN AND WOMEN OF SCIENCE, and several directories of WHO'S WHO.
