Here are some questions to think about as you prepare for our discusison at the next meeting. A similar set of questions will work nicely for future papers as well. From now on, the meetings will involve much more student participation.

What imaging technique is being used?

What is the source of contrast?

What wavelengths are being used? Why?

What are they trying to image? Why?

What field of view, resolution, and sectioning ability do they need?

What is the potential for ex-vivo or in-vivo imaging?

Is this exceptionally expensive and/or complicated technology? Could it be used in a doctor's office, or hospital for routine work, or is it strictly a research instrument?

See if you can identify which authors are students, staff, faculty, etc. Do a little searching on them. Where are they now?

Take a look at the citations to put this work in context of what was done before.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have relating to these topics or others in the papers.
