Speaker: Hans Scharler Community/Technical Evangelist, MathWorks

Title: Multidisciplinary Education via IoT


Learn IoT’s impact on higher education and its multidisciplinary nature. IoT requires teams to pull together from many backgrounds from engineering to operations. Hans Scharler will lead us through a 1-hour talk about IoT, its impact on engineering education, building multidisciplinary teams, and planning IoT projects that include data analytics from the start.

Join us for demonstrations and discussions with MathWorks engineers on applications in Deep Learning, Robotics and more.

Hans Scharler is a Community/Technical Evangelist at MathWorks, focusing on the Internet of Things. He is an active speaker about technology and specifically about the Internet of Things. He co-founded ioBridge and created ThingSpeak — two platforms that have spurred on IoT applications for many developers, manufacturers, and users all over the world.
