(12 Feb 2024) There will be no class Tuesday 13 February because
the University is closed. I'll see you all Friday.
(30 Jan 2024) Homework 2 is posted. Let's go for Friday 9
February as a due date.
(24 Jan 2024) Here is the schedule for next week, when I'll be at
a conference.
- Tuesday, Dr. Joseph Hollmann of Draper Labs will
present the lecture in the classroom.
Please note that this will
begin at 2:00pm.
- On Friday Mr. Eric Hall from my research
group will present the lecture starting at the usual 1:35.
(20 Dec 2023) Welcome to Optics for Engineers. For Spring of
2024, we will be doing the undergraduate course, EECE4646.
I am making some extensive revisions to the course to make it more
accessible to undergraduate students. The slides shown now are from
the previous course for your information.
I will update these slides as we go through the term. and I'm
planning to generate some new homework assignments. You will not
need to purchase a textbook for this course.
