Friday was a "free" day for a mixture of homework, sightseeing, and rest (As Jimmy suggested, "Pick any two.") On the way to do some errands, I saw several locations along the streets where people were burning money for Ghost Month.

Wednesday afternoon we went to the Buddhist monastery. The rooftop
garden was peaceful and cool (the coolest I've been outdoors in
Taipei)
We met "The Navigator" who joined us for the tour of the temple and
the return trip on the MRT

Class time: Here we are gathered in the cafe at the end of the
afternoon class.
A very few of us brought umbrellas. The rest of us waited out the
rainstorm at the end of the day, before venturing to dinner.
