When I
joined the Department of Cooperative Education on July 14th,
1969, I never envisioned that I would be composing this notice almost
half a
century later. Be that
as
it may, I want you to know that I will be retiring from Northeastern
University,
after 42 years of service, as of June 30th,
2011. In
retrospect, there
are few people who have been able to make their vocation congruent with
their
avocation; but
I have been lucky enough to have done so. Should you need "program" assistance please feel free to email or phone Professor Kent and Professor Potter. Dr. Stephen M. Kane |

SOME COMPANIES USE AN ON-LINEIMPORTANT
MESSAGE REGARDING JOBS AT RAYTHEON
FROM PROFESSOR POTTER - PLEASE READ There hasn't been much interest in the Raytheon jobs, in part because their search process on the Rayjobs web site seems to be misleading. For example, the co-op jobs in engineering are listed under administrative services. The attached document demonstrates a process that will take you to the list of jobs from which you can select individual jobs you could be interested in. NOTE: Raytheon has gotten back to the process of not specifying each job by location or duties/description. Don't be put off by this! There are lots of very good jobs at Raytheon; they do state-of-the-art engineering and love co-ops. If the buzz words seem to be of interest, sign up. Use the interview to ask for specifics, then decide if you want to accept the job. Raytheon also pays very well and provides paid holidays, vacation time, sick time, and 401K participation to their co-op students. GIVE THEM A LOOK !
